YAK 54 is designed by Benoit Paysant le Roux and can be used either with electric or glow power with motor a50 type and 5s battery or 46 glow size 2 cycle engine. The CAD design and laser cutting give light and strong structure and a very light and extremely strong airframe for only 2,2 to 2,35 kg ready to fly for glow or electric version. 500 grams less than any other glow engine in this range! YAK 54 NPM is designed as strong as the Extra 330S you can already find on our web site. The kit is delivered in arf form. The wings are in 2 parts with alulminium spar tube.Quality accessories are supplied along with instruction manual.

Beautifully covered with monokote color scheme. This Yak is not only a joy to look at but is also a great 3D flier. you can expect strong vertical performance as well as precise control at low power settings. Constructed of balsa, the laser cut parts fit is excellent. Fiberglass cowl and wheel pants are ready to install. The canopy/top hatch is pre-trimmed and installed. The wings are joined using a strong aluminum tube; nylon bolts secure the wing in place and will handle the most extreme 3D maneuvers. Assembly takes approximately 6-8 hours. Detail photos show the initial flight control settings as well as suggested expo settings. Suitable for the intermediate to advanced builder/pilot. Photo illustrated instructions. Glow engine mount and electric conversion are included.
