Superior quality is what you get with our all new Edge 540. Built light but still strong. Very user friendly canopy and hatch system. The canopy and hatch is one assembly that is held in place with a spring lock system located behind the canopy on top of the airplane. One push of the button and the whole hatch opens up for easy access to your radio equipment. There is ample space for batteries, if you choose to use the electric motor mount that comes with the kit. The two aileron servos are located in the bottom of the 2 piece wing that are joined with an aluminum tube. The rudder and elevator servos are located in the sides of the fuselage just in front of the tail and the throttle servo is under the hatch. Engine cowl and wheel pants are fiberglass. Plane comes with all necessary hardware, linkages, aluminum landing gear,fuel tank, and spinner.
