Thought you might like the following feedback regarding the Explorer Trainer aircraft I recently purchased. The airplane flew excellent tracking true, and capable of very basic aerobatic maneuvers. The other noticeable difference is the overall wingspan length, and wider cord in comparison to other trainers on the market is a very nice feature. The difference in the plane’s dimension sure makes a difference with flying characteristics. Since, I built and used this airplane to brush up my flying skills after a two year layoff. I was flying inverted with the first three minutes of maiden flight. I would have no reservations in recommending this airplane to beginning RC pilot to build, and fly with a certified training instructors.
On the flip side this is the least expensive airplane I have ever purchased, and was pleasantly surprised. In the meantime, this airplane is getting a new home with a beginning pilot fostering good will in the hobby.

MORE THAN A TRAINER, VERY EASY TO LEARN ON AND FLYS LIKE A SPORT PLANE. FROM BEGINNER TO EXPERT, I DON'T THINK YOU CAN BUY A BETTER FLYING OR CONSTRUCTED ARF. WE HAVE BEEN RECEIVING MANY E-MAILS AND PHONE CALLS ABOUT HOW WELL THIS ARF FLIES AND IT'S GOOD CONSTRUCTION. I FLY THIS PLANE NEARLY EVERY WEEK WITH A .52 2C AND I THINK IT SHOULD BE IN THE SPORT PLANE CLASS. WITH ITS SEMI-SYMMETRICAL WING WITH ONLY ABOUT 1 DEG. DIHEDRAL IT WILL DO PERFECT AILERON ROLLS AND FLY INVERTED ALL DAY LONG. IT WILL NEARLY DO KNIFE EDGES, BUT IS EASY AND FORGIVING LIKE A FLAT BOTTOM WING TRAINER. OUR NORMAL SALE PRICE IS 79..00.
ARF Nitro Trainer style Airplane. Balsa and plywood construction . A very well constructed ARF airplane. It's big 65" wing span makes it easy to see and fly. With just a few hours of assembly time you will be at the field flying this big, almost ready to fly airplane. This ARF Trainer has a semi-symmetrical wing that makes it ideal for basic aerobatic thrills that a traditional flat bottom wing can't do, but still retains it's trainer flying traits. The semi-symmetrical wing reduces the "floating" when landing, therefore making it easier to land. Comes with all necessary hardware.. push rod tubes pre-installed. Decals pre-applyed. Engine and radio equipment not included. Wing has balsa ribs and leading edge is sheeted with balsa to improve strength and the two wing halves are joined with a heavy duty plywood joiner. Kit comes from CY model factory,One of china's leading producers. Body is Lite ply covered with balsa sheeting and motor mount is installed. Not only budget priced but is of the finest construction.
E-mail from a customer......... I purchased a Explorer arf-40 on Nov. 9th. Under my comments I asked if you were interested because I was converting it to electric .You stated I should let you know. What I did, was make a new motor mount 1 1/2 inches in front of the existing motor mount, and installed an Atlas outrunner 2927-10 motor. A 45 amp esc. Using a 3S 4000 map battery swing a 13x8 prop. It balanced perfect with the motor there and the battery tray exactly where the fuel tank would go. Between the firewall and the windshield I cut out a battery door. Then I don't have to remove the wing to change battery. I fly very conservative because I am new. I get about 15 minutes per battery. Maidened it yesterday. If flew great. In fact several of the gas people at the field were impressed, not only with the plane, but also how well it performed with the electrics. Several fliers asked me for you web page when I told them what the price of the plane was they could not believe it. Most will probably use ic but maybe some will want to put in electric.
